Our Hemlock trees need your help! Come and learn about the threat of hemlock woolly adelgid with Laurel Gailor, Coordinator for Capital Mohawk Partnership for Regional Invasive Species Management (PRISM).
The training will focus on identifying hemlock wooly adelgid and reporting their location using the iMapInvasives mobile application.The first part of the training will take place at Local 111, located at 111 Main Street, Philmont, NY. After Laurel’s presentation, we’ll head over to High Falls Conservation Area to learn how to spot active hemlock wooly adelgid infestations. Snacks and drinks will be provided.
