November Full Moon Walk
Wednesday, November 28th , 2012 4:00pm - 6:00pm
Hand Hollow Conservation Area 4079 County Route 9, New Lebanon
Join CLC for a walk under the Geese Going Moon, also known as the Frost Moon and Beaver Moon. In late November, beavers are actively preparing for winter. For both the colonists and the Algonquin tribes, this was the time to set beaver traps before the swamps froze. Beavers were used for their warm furs. We’ll stroll towards the beaver dam and see the site in a different light! Don’t forget your flashlight.
