Our summer workshop will begin with a short history of the meadow installation and its growth over fourteen years. We will also tour the meadow for a closer look and learn about the benefits of native plants in the landscape.
Barbara Hughey and Heather Grimes will present general management techniques as well as sharing plant and informational resources with participants about medicinal plants in the landscape.
There are four different ecosystems – wetlands, woodlands, meadow, and domestic. The workshop focus will be on pollinator habitat and the importance of native biodiverse plant communities for promoting true pollinator population resilience and the plants that support them.
Coffee and sweet rolls will be served.
Cost is $55. Student rate is $25. Contact John Horton at email@example.com for more details. Location will be released upon registration. Find out more about Linda’s restored landscape (TerraConstructa) at lindabhorn.com
