Churchtown Firehouse County Route 27, Churchtown, NY

Read notes from the second CAC Roundtable.
Conservation Advisory Council (CAC) members and interested citizens are invited. The Roundtable is a forum for CAC members to share information about their conservation activities. It’s also a way for interested citizens to learn more about what a CAC can do for their town, including issues related to groundwater, wildlife habitat, open space recreation, and scenic views.
Elected officials and members of volunteer boards and committees are especially encouraged to attend. Conrad and Claudia Vispo from the Farmscape Ecology Program at Hawthorne Valley will attend the Roundtable and talk about their activities.
CLC has produced a brochure on Conservation Advisory Councils to introduce their benefits to Town Boards. If you would like help in discussing the value of a CAC with your Town Board, this brochure will be available the Roundtable.
