The Midwood Estate, constructed around 1890, includes 80 acres of land permanently protected by a CLC conservation easement. The Estate has unobstructed panoramic views of the Hudson River and the Catskill Mountains and steeply sloping riverfront that extends more than 500 feet along the river. It is located within the Clermont Historic District of the National, State Registers of Historic Places, and in the National Park Service’s Hudson River National Historic Landmark District. Woods road is an officially designated scenic road by NY State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC).
