Thank you to all the volunteers who helped at the 5th Annual Water Chestnut Removal Days at the Hand Hollow Conservation Area! Working together we were able to clear a large portion of the southwestern portion of Meizinger Lake. This is the area that is most accessible to picnickers and anglers. Grab your fishing polls and head over to Siegel-Kline Kill Conservation Area. Working with the Columbia Land Conservancy and Trout Unlimited, the New York Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC) introduced many trout into the creek at the Public Conservation Area. Fishing licenses can be obtained at most town clerk offices and sporting good stores.
