Public Lands Steward
Whitney joined CLC in June 2017 as a Public Lands Steward. She grew up roaming New England’s woods, lakes and mountains and went on to earn a degree in wildlife ecology from the University of Maine. Whitney has spent many seasons traveling the northeast United States and wore out several pairs of hiking boots working as a park ranger, conservation land steward and trail builder. Now she is thrilled to land in beautiful Columbia County and put down roots working to conserve a landscape with room for both wildlife and local communities.
Whitney spends her free time outdoors hiking, camping, fishing and hunting for geocaches.
