Stock Transfer Instructions


Thank you for requesting information regarding gifts of stock to the Columbia Land Conservancy. Donations of this type make a major impact on our ability to protect the rural lands important to the people of Columbia County, and are greatly appreciated.

To initiate a stock transfer, please provide the following instructions to your brokerage house:

For the Benefit of: Brokerage account name: Columbia Land Conservancy, Inc.
Brokerage number: 50879640

Your brokerage house will require CLC’s tax ID number, which is 22-2757332 and may contact Vanguard directly if they have further questions. Our client service contact is Kevin Lafferty and he may be reached at 610.503.1552, ext. 31552.

So that CLC may properly acknowledge your gift and confirm the transfer, please email us with the number of shares, type of stock, your name, and your address.
