Columbia County is an extraordinary place, but there is no guarantee that it will remain this way.
In order to safeguard our county’s rich natural resources, support a thriving agricultural sector, and serve as a community conservation leader, the Columbia Land Conservancy has undertaken the Columbia County Tomorrow campaign. This ambitious effort raised more than $9.25M to accelerate the pace of conservation in Columbia County, focusing on three strategic initiatives:
These strategies will make it possible for CLC to act quickly to conserve critical parcels of land, steward our 4,000-acre system of Public Conservation Areas to the highest standard, and substantially expand our education and outreach programs. Stay tuned to find out more about how your gifts will make a positive impact on this place we love so deeply. If you’d like to make a gift, please contact Peter Paden, Executive Director.
