Are you curious about trees? Do you want to learn tips and tricks to I.D. trees? Have you ever wondered if that forest you’ve hiked through is healthy or not? If you answered ‘Yes’ to any of these questions, Please join us for as we discover the forest wonderland in the middle of Chatham Village at Borden’s Pond Conservation Area. We will hike the trails of Borden’s to learn about the trees that grow on the property, practice using the Forest Health Scorecard, and come away with some tips and tricks to remember. This is a family-friendly event with activities for kids as well. This event will be held rain or shine.
Accessibility: Primarily packed earth, with some rocks. The Streamside Trail is flatter, while the Witch Hazel Trail has one short, steep incline.
