Little Explorers: Leaves, Seeds, and Acorns

October 2 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Join us for Little Explorers, a monthly day program that happens on the first Friday of every month for kids age 2-6! We’ll meet at one of our Conservation Areas, read a story, then go for a short hike and explore nature together. We’ll ask questions, examine plants, look for wildlife, and learn about leaves, seeds, and acorns.

We will meet at one of our conservation areas, read a story relevant to the theme of the day, and then go explore! We will be looking for wildlife, examining plants, and engaging with some of what we learned from the story. Parents or caregivers are required to stay for the duration of the program. Older siblings are also welcome to come. Please bring weather appropriate, layered clothing (including hat, gloves, rain gear), sturdy shoes or boots, and a snack and drink. Maximum capacity is 15 children.
