Nature Night

March 18 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm EDT

How did the Salamander cross the road? With your help! Learn about the Amphibian Migration and Road Crossings Project and how you can help keep these special critters safe. Join CLC staff to learn more about this community science program happening all over the Hudson Valley, and how you can get involved here in Columbia County. This program will cover the variety of amphibians you may encounter if you venture out on a cold rainy night this spring, as well as how to report your findings so your data can help scientists and local officials better understand where these salamanders and wood frogs are especially vulnerable during their annual migrations and where their habitats are located.  We will go over how to use and interact on our new mobilize platform, so you can find others looking to volunteer in your neighborhood.

Sign up to join the Amphibian Migration and Road Crossing here on Mobilize as well as registering below.

This virtual event will be held on Zoom. You must pre-register to receive the login information. Click here to register.
