Spring Beginner Bird Walk

May 22 @ 7:30 am - 9:30 am EDT

All participants must complete a COVID Screening Form prior to attending, and agree to abide by CLC’s COVID Safety Guidelines.

Join Alan Devoe Bird Club and CLC for a Spring Beginner Bird Walk. Led by experienced birder Marian Sole, we will meet at 7:30 a.m. at the parking area on Catalano Road.  This time of year we celebrate the return of migratory species that find food and habitat at the largest Conservation Area. The walk will take us through a wonderful mix of habitat that will provide opportunities to see a variety of resident and migratory birds. The vistas and views alone are worthy of a visit.

Masks are required. Please be ready to be outside for the entire event. Sneakers and or hiking shoes are highly recommended as are full water bottles. There will be no sharing of equipment, and there are no bathrooms or other indoor amenities available; please plan accordingly. This program is best suited for adults. The walk is anticipated to take about two hours, but we will be close to the parking lot at all times if attendees need to leave early.

This event is strictly limited to ten individuals in order to follow COVID safety guidelines. In order to attend, you must email Heidi Bock to sign up.
