During this one-hour Zoom webinar, Jen Crawford, P.E. with Crawford & Associates Engineering and Land Surveying, will present information about community solar projects, including the anatomy of a solar project and possible benefits and concerns for rural communities. Pre-registration is required.
Who should attend? This session is a general overview for anyone with an interest in learning more about the typical components and considerations for building community solar projects. It is strongly recommended to attend this webinar in advance of the other two in the series.

Jen Crawford, PE leads a team of engineers at Crawford & Associates Engineering & Land Surveying, PC (C&A) that specialize in design and review of commercial solar development projects. Jen has over 10 years’ experience in the solar industry, beginning with an internship at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) in 2009. Jen then worked at Abengoa Solar for about 4 years before returning to NY to work for the family engineering firm. On the side, Jen also consulted for the CThree Group providing solar industry market research for about 4 years. Jen obtained a BS in Physics at Tufts University in 2007 and a MS in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2009. In her free time, Jen serves as volunteer firefighter and sits on the Town of Germantown Planning Board. Jen also has a passion for paddling the Hudson River and her tributaries. She is chairperson of the Town of Germantown Local Waterfront Revitalization (LWRP) Committee, and helps organize the Roe Jan Creek Boat Club’s annual whitewater canoe race to benefit the American Cancer Society.
