What is a land conservancy?
The Columbia Land Conservancy is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that works to connect people to the land by partnering with individuals, community groups, and municipal partners.

When are the Public Conservation Areas open?
Dawn to dusk, free of charge, seven days a week! Read more and get trail maps here.

Can I bring my dog?
Absolutely! Leashed dogs are welcome. Please remove all dog waste.

What types of activities are allowed at the sites?
Walking, hiking, bird-watching, biking, fishing, and more! Click here to read a brochure. Camping and swimming are not permitted. Contact CLC for a permit to host a special event.

Can you help me protect my land?

Can you tell me if a certain property is conserved?
CLC does not share information about specific properties.

      Hi Jeannie, it is permitted but we ask that you not ride when it’s wet out to avoid damaging the trails, and with the understanding that you’d be sharing the trail with hikers, bikers, and dogs. Though we ask everyone to keep dogs on leash, unfortunately folks don’t always follow the rules.
